1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules and restrictions governing your use of SGA AlgoTrader Pro (the "Platform"). By accessing the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
2. General Conduct Requirements
When using the Platform, you must:
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Respect intellectual property rights and licensing agreements
- Use the Platform only for legitimate trading and analysis purposes
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
- Provide accurate information during registration and account management
- Promptly report security vulnerabilities or suspicious activities
3. Prohibited Activities
3.1 Illegal and Fraudulent Activities
Strictly Prohibited - Any of the following will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to law enforcement:
- Money Laundering: Using the Platform to facilitate money laundering or terrorist financing
- Fraud and Manipulation: Engaging in market manipulation, wash trading, spoofing, or pump-and-dump schemes
- Insider Trading: Trading on non-public material information
- Identity Fraud: Impersonating others or providing false identification
- Tax Evasion: Using the Platform to evade taxes or financial reporting obligations
- Sanctions Violations: Trading from or with sanctioned countries, entities, or individuals
3.2 Security Violations
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization
- Hacking and Exploits: Exploiting vulnerabilities, bugs, or security flaws for unauthorized advantage
- Malware Distribution: Uploading viruses, worms, trojans, or malicious code
- Credential Sharing: Sharing login credentials or API keys with third parties
- Brute Force Attacks: Attempting to crack passwords or bypass authentication mechanisms
- DDoS Attacks: Launching denial-of-service attacks or overwhelming Platform resources
- Social Engineering: Phishing, pretexting, or manipulating users to obtain sensitive information
3.3 Abuse of Platform Resources
- Excessive API Usage: Exceeding rate limits or making abusive API calls
- Resource Hoarding: Intentionally consuming excessive bandwidth, storage, or compute resources
- Bot Networks: Operating unauthorized bot networks or automated scraping tools
- System Interference: Disrupting Platform operations or other users' experiences
- Load Testing: Conducting unauthorized load or stress testing
3.4 Intellectual Property Violations
- Reverse Engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering Platform software
- Trademark Infringement: Using SGA trademarks, logos, or branding without permission
- Algorithm Theft: Attempting to replicate, steal, or reverse engineer proprietary trading algorithms
- Unauthorized Redistribution: Reselling, sublicensing, or distributing Platform access
- Content Scraping: Systematically extracting data, indicators, or signals for redistribution
3.5 Misuse of Trading Features
- High-Frequency Abuse: Using the Platform for ultra-high-frequency trading that violates broker terms
- Latency Arbitrage: Exploiting latency differences for unfair advantage (if prohibited by brokers)
- Order Spoofing: Placing orders with intent to cancel before execution to manipulate markets
- Front-Running: Trading ahead of known large orders to profit from price movements
- Account Farming: Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or restrictions
3.6 Data Misuse
- Data Harvesting: Collecting user data, trading signals, or market insights for resale
- Privacy Violations: Attempting to access or disclose other users' personal information
- Unauthorized Monitoring: Tracking or surveilling other users without consent
- Data Exfiltration: Extracting large datasets beyond legitimate usage for competitive purposes
3.7 Prohibited Content
- Uploading illegal, obscene, or offensive content
- Posting spam, advertisements, or unsolicited marketing
- Spreading misinformation or financial scams
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or staff
4. Rate Limits and Fair Use
4.1 API Rate Limits
To ensure fair resource allocation, the following rate limits apply:
- Market Data API: 1000 requests/hour per account
- Trading Signals API: 500 requests/hour per account
- Order Execution API: 100 requests/minute per account
- Account Management API: 50 requests/hour per account

4.2 Fair Use Policy
"Fair use" means reasonable usage consistent with typical trading activities. We reserve the right to enforce fair use restrictions if your usage patterns negatively impact Platform performance or other users.
5. Compliance with Broker Terms
When connecting third-party brokers (Bybit, MT5, Hyperliquid, etc.), you must:
- Comply with each broker's terms of service and acceptable use policies
- Ensure your trading strategies are permitted by the broker
- Not use the Platform to circumvent broker restrictions or limitations
- Accept responsibility for broker-related fees, penalties, or account suspensions
We are not liable for broker actions taken due to your trading activities.
6. Monitoring and Enforcement
6.1 Platform Monitoring
We employ automated systems to monitor for policy violations, including:
- Anomalous trading patterns or API usage
- Security threats and unauthorized access attempts
- Resource consumption exceeding fair use thresholds
- Compliance with regulatory requirements
6.2 Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity of the violation, we may take the following actions:
